I got my copy of Age of Conan on Friday and I couldn’t wait to install and play it. After playing it most of the weekend I thought I would share my impressions of the game. I only have my 2.2 Ghz Macbook Pro to play it on, so I was worried about performance of the game. It was playable but I really do need a new computer to appreciate the graphics of this game.

Age of Conan is finally released after a few delays to the released date, and I am very excited to get my hands on this game. Many source claim this game to be the next big MMORPG in gaming. It caters for a ‘mature’ audience and has many features over other MMORPG’s. Features such as mounted combat, siege warfare, player cities, and the new combat system are just some of the really cool features of AOC. A couple of videos (Part 1 , Part 2) at mmorpg.com, really show off some of the cool combat system features.
The game has completely sold out of collectors editions selling 111,000 copies, and seems so popular they shipped 700,000 copies on launch day. This game is becoming huge quickly!
I getting my copy today and will post my thoughts of it on the weekend.
