How to remove the dashed print area lines in Excel 2003
Excel 2003, Tips May 20th, 2008Ever wondered how you can remove those annoying dashed print area lines from an Excel worksheet?
Here are two quick ways:
- File > Page Setup > Check the Fit to Page option
- Tools > Options > View Tab > Uncheck Page Breaks
Note : Every time you setup your page for printing the dashed print area lines will appear again

For Excel 2007 you will need to reset the page breaks for every tab. This may be very painful if your workbook contains lots of sheets.
Go to Microsoft Office Button -> Excel Options (see at bottom of menu) -> Advanced. Under the section for Display options for this worksheet you will need to select each sheet and turn off “Show page breaks”.
